I love that he stumbled.
I love that he smiled.
I love that he seemed human and not this untouchable dignitary. We need that.
I loved that he talked about the responsibility of all. It's imperative.
I love that he reached out to other nations.
I love that even though this is a great day for our achievements, it is also a day in which we must remind ourselves of what is necessary.
I love that I can be proud of my citizenship.
I love that he talked about our history, no matter how short it has been.
I love that he talked about justice.
I love that more people have come to this inauguration than any other in history.
I love that for once there is this sense of connection. Those dividing lines are disappearing.
I love.

Date: 2009-01-20 10:25 pm (UTC)you know...I think so? ahaha so certain about that one. When you're referring to him informally of course. It's a tough one. I DUNNO NOW. THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION.
"Barack passed this bill today..." < does that sound right? I dunno.
I think we can still refer to him as Obama though...just as long as none of this involves official news releases or reporters or you know...general formal things.
TOUGHNESS.
either way I still love him.

Date: 2009-01-23 03:40 am (UTC)They actually re-swore him in today just to ensure that he was really president.
Oh I believe. He ordered that the CIA close Guantanamo. And that the CIA stop torturing. That's change.
