In this day and age, what we really need is a uniter, not a divider. Albus Dumbledore has a proven track record of convincing long-time foes to lay down their arms and of bringing under-represented minorities back into the system. If he can make Sirius Black and Severus Snape put aside their grudge for the betterment of wizardkind, think what he'll be able to do for the Ministry!

Plus, he's the only candidate with the official endorsement of the Boy Who Lived! What more could you ask for in a Minister?

Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody might be paranoid, but considering how many people are out to get us, that might not always be a bad thing. Sure, a Minister is good. But who's to say that a total authoritarian dictator isn't even better?

The wizarding community is so full of idiots today that it's quite obvious that they can no longer be trusted to make their own decisions. Maybe it's finally time to take policy decisions out of the hands of the moronic masses and put them back where they belong: with a Dark Wizard you can trust.

Voldemort has a proven track record when it comes to getting results, and he comes to office completely free of any debts or ties. Not to mention, just think how funny it will be when all his opponents stammer and stutter as they try to figure out a way to concede to him while still calling him You-Know-Who.
